POSITION SUMMARY

AllTrades Industrial Properties Industrial is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for projects is the North Dallas area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to read blueprints and manage the construction schedule. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. The candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with stakeholders, and be able to establish a timeline for completion. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with personal skills capable of establishing/maintaining vendor and subcontractor relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mobilize to site at receipt of assignments and perform Site Establishment which includes: Coordinate schedules, staging areas, parking, and entrance/exit points.

• Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule

• Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.

• Conduct preconstruction planning

• Ensures proper permits are secured.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations by all personnel on jobsite during course of construction.

• Coordinates respective trade activity with all respective parties when necessary.

• Schedules work, including subcontractors and vendors.

• Directs trade activities based on concept and interpretation of project drawings.

• Assist in located good subcontracting teams

• Reviews drawings, (i.e., shop, architectural, structural, etc.) that are issued to the field; coordinates and maintains a current set of drawings at all times.

• Manage the overall project and 2 week look ahead schedules

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 - 10 years of experience as a job site commercial Superintendent

• 3 - 10 years ground up commercial construction experience 

• Strong project management and communications skills

• Ability to read construction documents

• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards

• Experience with permitting and scheduling inspections
